In a pickle, help Amazon!

Miss Amazon:

I have a problem that my friends all envy...but I am sick and tired of dealing with. Because of nature I am better endowed than most and am a show-er and a grower. The challenge is that when I go down to the bar because you can see the outline of "it" in my jeans....all these men think it is there to touch through my jeans....this is not the way I want to be treated and I feel like a piece of meat! What can I do!

Oh Pudding....Miss Amazon can feel your pain and probably would want to if she met you in person. As Shakespeare would say...The Pudding doth protest too much, methinks. You have lived with the monster for decades and you know how to properly tuck it away (if not ask you local drag queen). If this is such a challenge then wear looser fitting pants and tie that anaconda down! Remember .... Miss Amazon loves YOU!

Miss Amazon:
I have a very full life and love all aspects of it with the exception of romance. I would love to find a boyfriend but all I seem to meet is "straight" guys who want booty calls. I always end up being the other "woman" and I just end up feeling used when they leave after they are done. What can I do to meet me who will want to date me not just breed me?

Suffering in Spokane.

Well Pudding....sometimes we ask questions just to verify what we know to be the right answer. If a straight guy wants to have a relationship he will have it with a woman or come out. Some men will stay on the DL indefinitely in order to keep their relationships and self concept intact. Miss Amazon thinks you are attracted to these men because they are safe...they will not ask you for anything beyond sex so you have no chance of being hurt...in theory...but as you can testify it hurts when someone only wants you for sex. The time has come my dear pudding to leave the booty calls behind and get involved in places where you can meet single gay men. We have a wonderful GLBT center on Washington. A number of drinking establishments if that is something you do and numerous social organizations in town that would love to have you volunteer. Please know that you are not alone...most gay men go through the stage that you are in and come out the other side better for it. Good luck Suffering and remember....Miss Amazon loves YOU and all you do!!

Punching Bag

Miss Amazon:

I am in a long term relationship (12 years) and my partner about once a month "sees red" and beats me up. He is pretty much a wuss but it is still jarring and wrong. I know a wise person would just leave and get away from the violence but I have a challenge. I built a very successful company and have it in both our names and there is no way he is going to let me take any assets if I leave so I have no way to survive. Should I just tough it out and hope it will get better?

-Punching Bag

Oh Pudding! I have been there and done that! Violence does not abate until one of you is dead. I know you are scared to start over and guessing that based on your long relationship term you are wondering if you will be alone because you are not a spring chicken anymore. Well here is where the bear shit in the woods....you have value as much as your partner does not want you to know it. Your friends also know what is going on...talk to them about your need to leave and see how your friends can help you get out. If they tell you partner you are planning to leave you may have a situation but at least it is out in the open and he will have to face the real possibility of losing you and there is not a huge market for abusive spouses! Never, never, never feel like you do not have options because you do. If you afraid of starting again...I can assure you that the second time around is MUCH easier. The time has come for you to lean on someone else and get well yourself. Remember...Miss Amazon loves YOU and all you do...I believe in you Punching Bag!

Fishing off the company dock

Dear Miss Amazon:

I am in training in Dallas for 3 months and I am finding myself very attracted to a fellow classmate. He says his marriage is breaking up but one of our classmates  saw him kissing and hugging his wife when she picked him up at the airport last week. He is tall dark and handsome and judging by how he looks in basketball shorts is packing heat....He says he is just being nice to his soon to be ex wife and not rocking the boat...should I believe him and start something or leave well enough alone?

- Horned Up in Texas

Well sweetie...it seems to me you know what to do and just want me to say go for it....well I am not. I have known the type of guy and was in my wicked youth just like him I am not proud to say. You need to value yourself enough to know that you do not need to be a convenient pit stop for his desires when he is away from home. We all think we can find, fornicate and forget but it never works out well and you will have to look at his face for a long time while you are both in Dallas. Find yourself some cowboy to ride and forget fishing off the company dock. Remember...Miss Amazon loves YOU and all you do!
